Nutrition for Longevity

This six -week free Online class will focus on what to eat , how to select and prepare nutritious food, best times to eat and how to enjoy real food. Topics include information about the food choices and lifestyles of the centenarians who live in the “Blue Zones”. Gerri will translate the latest science based research into practical information. You will learn which foods contain antioxidants and other bioactive ingredients that reduce inflammation along with discussion about the benefits of intermittent fasting and more. CRN # 42617

Instructors: Gerri Cardillo French, MS, RDN, CDE

Gerri French is a clinical dietitian, culinary nutritionist, diabetes educator, wellness and cooking instructor. She sees clients in her private practice, teaches nutrition at Santa Barbara City College and works at Sansum Clinic. Gerri is the creator of the popular Santa Barbara Food and Farm Adventures Meetup where like minded people tour farms and meet farmers.
