Nutrition for Longevity- Free Online Course

An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until February 18, 2021
This six -week free Online class will focus on what to eat , how to select and prepare nutritious food, best times to eat and how to enjoy real food. Topics include information about the food choices and lifestyles of the centenarians who live in the “Blue Zones”. Gerri will translate the latest science based research into practical information. Students discover which foods contain Bioactive substances that reduce inflammation along with information on Intermittent Fasting. Class will have optional assignments and activities with group discussions

Gerri French is a clinical dietitian, culinary nutritionist, diabetes educator, wellness and cooking instructor. She sees clients in her private practice, teaches nutrition at Santa Barbara City College and works at Sansum Clinic.
