- 16 applications were received and 10 of those were eligible for scholarships that were funded through WBLT’s Food System Resilience grant. Providing scholarship opportunities allowed WBLT to reach a wider demographic and ensure equitable access to the course. Applicants represented a wide range of communities including the city of Lompoc, South Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County, and out of state.
